Terms & Conditions of Booking

This document details the terms and conditions under which HTES Northern Ltd operates in relation to provision of training and in working with individuals, training providers and organisations.

Where no specific arrangements are identified in this document, it is assumed that the standard HTES Northern Ltd terms will apply.

1. Payment Terms

1.1 Thirty (30) Days from date of the invoice, or immediately if not on account.

1.2 Payment can be made by card either online or by calling the office, or in the following ways:

1.2.1 Payments by BACS. Use your invoice number, customer number or agreement number as your reference to enable us to link up payments to your account.

1.2.3 Payments by cheque: Please make cheques payable to ‘HTES Northern Ltd’. The address is Ainsley Street, Mainsforth Terrace, Hartlepool, TS25 1TZ. There is no charge for paying by cheque, however an administration fee of £25.00 will be charged if the cheque does not clear the banking system or is returned without payment.

2. Cancellation / Non-attendance

2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing directly to HTES Northern Ltd. (Letter or email)

2.2 Cancellations via text or social media platform will not be accepted.

2.3 If you are unable to attend the course for which you registered, please inform HTES Northern Ltd as soon as possible, by contacting a member of our Training Department on 01429 868657 (option 1).

2.4 Fees are fully refundable if notification is received at least 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled start date of the course. If the notification is received within 13 calendar days and 8 calendar days of the course start date 50% of the course fee will be charged; otherwise, if the notification is received within 7 calendar days or less, then the full course fee will be charged.

2.5 Substitutions (name changes) are accepted at any time prior to the commencement of the course at no charge.

2.6 HTES Northern Ltd reserves the right to cancel and reschedule course dates due to insufficient enrollment numbers. The named booking contact will where practicably possible, be notified of cancellations within 5 days of the course start date.

2.7 If a course is cancelled for any reason, HTES Northern ltd will return any pre-paid registration fees, if the delegate or course organiser does not wish to re-schedule the course dates.

2.8 HTES Northern Ltd is not responsible for additional fees and travel expenses including train and airline penalties related to the cancellation of a HTES Northern Ltd course.

2.9 Please be aware that HTES Northern Ltd will invoice for any losses made in relation to the cancellation of a training programme including non-refundable air/train line tickets, accommodation, third party registration fees in addition to and recoverable and invested monies associated with the course, including venue, resources and assessment fees etc.

3 Cancellation of Funded Courses

3.1 All cancellations must be confirmed in writing, either via letter or email.

3.2 No fees will be incurred if confirmation of cancellation is received at least 7 calendar days prior to the course start date.

3.2 For any cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the course starting clients will be charged at a rate of £200 per day of cancelled training. Additional charges may also be incurred for plant/equipment hire when applicable.

4. Use of own Plant Machinery

4.1 All plant machinery must be regularly maintained and have relevant certificates in place to certify that it is safe to use.
